| The frame is made of Hot-Dip galvanized steel
profiles (a design by INTERKLIMA), externally powder coated
and enamel baked with RAL 9002 at 50-70 micro. It is incorporates
a special rubber gasket that forms a THERMAL BARRIER (a full
peripheral rubber thermal break to ensure that no metal bridge
occurs from any internal to external surface), which also
incorporates a LABYRINTH for sealing against positive and
negative air pressure.
The THERMAL BARRIER further ensures energy saving by avoiding
thermal energy escaping through the framework and as well
as the undesirable formation of condensation on the frame.
The THERMAL BARRIER was developed by INTERKLIMA and is internationally
patented (Ptn. No. 1003076/31.12.97).
The profiles are connected by means of special die-cast corner
pieces to form the AHU sections. In this critical part of
the joints, a special rubber piece is used to secure the continuation
of the thermal barrier in the joints. This type of construction
has the following features:
- excellent mechanical strength
- flexibility of construction
- perfect appearance and dimension precision
- quick and precise installation of interior components
- the possibility of completely dismantling the unit in
case of difficult access and reassembling at minimum time
and cost.
The panels are of the double-skin type, with the outer and
inner skins fabricated of hot-dip galvanized steel and with
the outer skin powder coated after manufacture and enamel
baked RAL 9002. The panels can be supplied in either 40mm
or 50mm thickness.
The panels can be insulated either with a rigid factory injected
polyurethane insulation layer of at least 45kg/m3 density,
which adds extra mechanical strength and rigidity to the panels,
or with a factory applied mineral wool insulation layer of
at least 60kg/m3 density. Both types of insulation have excellent
heat insulation and noise reduction requirements.
The panels are supported on the frame through screws in pre-punched
holes covered by specially made PVC cups for excellent appearance
and protection against rusting of the screws. The service
panels (Doors) are fixed on the frame by special chrome die-cast
hinges developed by INTERKLIMA, permitting the doors to open
either left or right or, the whole door to be removed in case
inadequate space.
