INTERKLIMA’s experience
in designing and building coils spans more than 20 years.
Today’s coils for our MD series air handling units
are a combination technology. As a result, every INTERKLIMA
coil built today is of absolute highest quality, scientifically
matched application and rating specifications.
The coils for our MD series air handling units are fabricated
of 3/8” OD copper tubes. Finned surface is available
in either copper or aluminum and all joints are made using
high temperature alloys for extra reliability. All coils
featuring the new corrugated finned surface have tubes mechanically
expanded into continuous fins integral spacing collars. This
is a proven manufacturing technique, which results in positive
fin and tube contact for maximum heat transfer,
The coil casings are of galvanized steel. All water coil
headers are fabricated from rugged schedule 40 steel pipe
(optional non-ferrous or copper headers are available). Headers
are covered with anticorrosion paint.
Quality control: INTERKLIMA coils are checked at virtually
every step of the manufacturing process to assure you of
the most final quality control check. Each and every coil
is pressurized to 400 psig and submerged in water testing
tank.
After the coil is assembled on the drain pan, the whole
assembly slides on the unit guide rails to its final position.
The inlet and outlet coil connections, as well as the drain
connection, are sealed on the casing with neoprene gaskets. |
